Illinois Tech (IIT) offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs for international students. We collaborate with many universities to offer you the opportunity to study Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) and/or Information Technology and Management (ITM) in Chicago.
The University has several partnerships which serve International students enrolled in specific overseas universities whose programs of study are aligned with those of INTM and/or ITM. In some cases, exchange options are available for Illinois Tech students.
Illinois Tech students interested in studying abroad will find information about year-long, single semester, and summer opportunities at these and many other universities on the IIT International Center Study Abroad webpage.
IIT Europe/International Partners Program
IIT Europe/International Partners Program offers opportunities for graduate students from select European technical universities to earn a master’s degree in Industrial Technology and Operations (MITO) in conjunction with a degree at their home university. Most IIT Europe students are required to complete a research project on a topic related to their future academic or career interests, facilitated by an INTM faculty advisor, while also taking specific INTM courses.
In some cases, students may choose a project-only option allowing a six month visit to Illinois Tech to complete the graduate research project. Students interested in learning more should contact Dr. Vanita Mesquita, Director of Overseas Programs at email@example.com
IIT School of Applied Technology (SAT) offers an opportunity for students enrolled in ISM University of Management and Economics in Lithuania to earn a dual bachelor’s or master’s degree from ISM and IIT.
