Instructions for accessing myIIT, the master portal for all of IIT's online systems (e-mail, Blackboard, Banner Student), and how to connect to on-campus wi-fi. Review locations and installed software in IIT academic computer labs.
New Student Orientation
Orientation is held prior to the start of the fall and spring semesters. View dates and activities for incoming Undergraduate and Graduate students; information and FAQ. Incoming Graduate students should also view academic orientation information on the Graduate Academic Affairs website.
Office of Technology Services Support Desk (OTS)
OTS Support Desk helps students, faculty and staff with myIIT access and computer issues. Submit requests for technical support through the myIIT portal, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or consult the Support Desk Knowledge Base/FAQ. Contact OTS during business hours at 312.567.3375.
Access, Card and Parking Services
Contact this office for student ID cards and Main Campus Parking permits. Part-time commuter students should compare cost of utilizing visitor parking lots versus a semester permit.
ONE STOP Office
Quick and convenient online site addressing common student questions; combines services of Registrar, Student Accounting, Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Affairs. Visit ONE STOP in MTCC.
Enrollment Services/ Registrar
Information on enrollment procedures, tuition and fees, payment plans, academic calendar and more.
Student Accounting Office/Bursar (SA)
Handles all student account billing, payments, credits, and refunds. Information on tuition and fees, deadlines for semester payments, payment plans and employer tuition reimbursement plans.
Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UGAA)
Undergraduate academic services; handles transcript evaluations, transfer credit, requests for reinstatement, academic audits, and graduation applications for undergraduates.
Graduate Academic Affairs
Essential information for new and current graduate students, including forms, graduate student handbook, important dates and deadlines.
International Center (IC)
Provides pre-arrival and arrival information, counseling, guidelines and forms for on-campus, CPT and OPT employment for international students.
Career Management Center
CMC offers students a variety of career-related opportunities, including annual job fairs, career planning, resume writing assistance, and access to an e-recruiting database for on-campus and off-campus employment.
Listing and links to all IIT libraries and online resources. Main Campus students utilize the Paul V. Galvin Library to search collections and access I-Share/IIT account.
