Illinois Tech Food Science and Nutrition (FdSN) and Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) are well represented at the Experimental Biology Conference

Illinois Tech will have 17 presentations (listed below) at the Experimental Biology Conference on April 22-26. In addition to Illinois Tech faculty and staff, 3 students will also present in emerging leader competitions and will be giving a talk in a special polyphenols/microbiome program.

Britt Burton Freeman, Director of the Center for Nutrition Research at IFSH and Associate Professor of Food Science and Nutrition, stated “we are very excited for our faculty and students to represent Illinois Tech and IFSH to build awareness of our nutrition research programs!”

Experimental Biology is the annual meeting of six societies comprised of more than 14,000 scientists and 50 guest societies. Primary focus areas include anatomy, biochemistry and molecular biology, investigative pathology, nutrition, pharmacology, and physiology.
