Professional Learning Programs

Information Technology Certificate Programs

The Information Technology (IT) Certificate Programs offered through the School of Applied Technology (SAT) of Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) are full semester programs offered in conjunction with Information Technology and Management (ITM) courses.  A participant may choose to take the course as an IT Certificate Program and receive Continuing Education Units (CEU) rather than credit hours.  Participants are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the program.  However, to be awarded CEU, attendance and class participation as defined by the instructor is required. In addition, an evaluation must be completed at the end of the term.

Short Courses

Short courses are usually 1 - 5 day live classes offered either at an IIT campus or corporate site. Enrollment in a short course will be granted to anyone who completes the online enrollment form here and pays the course fee required for the short course. Enrollment will also be handled for a corporate group through a company representative of the group wishing to enroll in the short course. A purchase order may also be accepted in cases of corporate groups.
