ITM students have the opportunity to use the Cyber Forensics and Security Lab and participate in the annual ForenSecure: Cyber Security and Forensics Conference and Expo.
The Cyber Forensics and Security Lab allows students the opportunity to develop and test many security and forensic situations, including diagnosing live computer viruses that are routinely introduced to test student knowledge and retrieving and preserving data on a hard drive.
Select students with outstanding projects will be given the opportunity to present at ForenSecure: Cyber Security and Forensics Conference and Expo. Historically, the student presentations have been very well received and are among the most popular presentations. While it may sound intimidating to present your student project to a group of industry experts, find comfort in the fact that coursework will prepare you, as it has done for many students before you.
