ForenSecure: Cyber Security and Forensics Conference
ForenSecure features a discussion and debate over issues related to ethical hacking, security, digital forensics, policy and compliance, cyberterrorism, privacy, cloud computing, and more. The conference is attended by security and forensic experts from business, industry and government and has more than 50 presenters. Conference highlights include presentations by organizations such as the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), IBM, Argonne National Laboratory, Cisco, The Chicago Police Department, CompTIA, Computer Associates, Fermilab, IEEE, KPMG, Microsoft, Motorola, Sungard, UniForum, and many others. IIT security and forensics students present their class projects to an audience of security and forensic professionals during this conference.
Real-Time Communications Conference and Expo
The IIT RTC Conference and Expo is a globally recognized collaborative event, where industry and academia connect. Leveraging its unique academic setting, this annual conference brings together technical professionals and business executives from the data and telecommunications industry, standards bodies, policy and regulatory institutions, and academic educators and researchers to promote an open exchange of ideas to lead future development in the rapidly changing field of real-time communications. Conference participants have included: Google, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Oracle and others.
A select group of IIT Information Technology and Management students are invited to present their projects during the Student Colloquium. Students do presentations, demonstrations and poster sessions about their projects.
