Information Technology and Management (B.A.C.)/Information Technology and Management (M.A.S.)

The Bachelor of Information Technology and Management/Master of Information Technology and Management accelerated master's degree program provides students the opportunity to graduate with bachelor's and master's degrees simultaneously.

This accelerated master's degree program is taught by experienced faculty using a hands-on, reality-based approach to education in which students apply what they learn in class to solve real-life problems. It offers seven specializations that target specific careers, and has more than 100 courses providing unparalleled breadth and depth. The information technology and management curriculum is a blend of theoretical content and practical application that features projects and laboratory-based instruction in which students learn and then do it.

The information technology and management program is designed to broaden and deepen the student's knowledge of new and emerging information technologies, the application and integration of these technologies, and the administrative practices used in the effective management of these technologies.

Students in the Bachelor of Information Technology and Management/Master of Information Technology and Management accelerated master's degree program can complete a fewer number of credit hours with better scheduling flexibility than they would if completing the two degrees separately.

Students will need to work with an adviser to properly sequence courses to ensure academic success.

Students in this program must be admitted to Illinois Tech. Students who are interested in transferring to this program should consult their academic advisers. Previous coursework or experience in technology is helpful but not required.
