There will be something for everyone– from high school and community college students to undergrad and graduate students and faculty– at the bi-annual International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) at McCormick Place in Chicago, Sept. 12-17, 2016. In addition to thousands of commercial exhibits, there will be a Student Summit offering Specialty Conferences on Process Innovations, Alternative Manufacturing, Plant Operations, Automation, and Quality, 10 challenges for students to discover and use some of the technologies utilized in advanced manufacturing, and a virtual Career Fair.

Illinois Tech will be exhibiting at the Show in booth NC-620 All registered attendees can stop by and learn more about School of Applied Technology/Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) and Armour College of Engineering programs, and see Biomedical Engineering students demonstrate their project involving the use of 3D printing for creating prosthetics.
