U.S. News & World Report interviewed Britt Burton-Freeman Director of the Center for Nutrition Research at Illinois Institute of Technology about her recent research into how low-income shoppers feel about organic produce

Britt Burton-Freeman and her team found that small increments in income within the low-income population was associated with differing attitudes and beliefs regarding organic and conventional growing of fruits and vegetables.
