IT Professional Certificates

The Information Technology Certificate Program (IT) and the Industrial Technology Professional Certificate Program (INTM) offered through the Office of Professional Development of the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago are semester long training classes designed for working professionals who are either looking to upgrade or expand their IT skills, or make a career change into the field of computer technology or technology management. All programs are approved for students receiving funding through WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act).

H1B1 work visa holders are eligible for these certificate programs!

Classes are a combination of both lecture and lab, which allows students hands-on practice of the skills and concepts presented. All classes are taught by proven industry professionals who enhance the learning process with real world knowledge and experience. Classes may be taken individually, or as a three course certificate program sequence awarding the participant a Professional (3+ courses) or Career (2 courses) Certificate in one of the concentrations listed below.

"The instructor articulates the materials so well with great humor. He not
only covered most of textbook but also provided a great deal of other
current materials such as SQLite, web scrapping, and web framework. This course
is one of the required course for the Professional Certificate for Software
Development and I listed it on my resume. At my interview I specifically
told the interviewers that I am taking this certificate class from IIT. It
definitely helped me to get hired by this company." - An IIT Professional Certificate Alumni
