Sustainable Environmental Management Systems and Supply Chain Management


Dr. Khalili is an associate professor of environmental management at IIT Stuart School of Business. She is specialized in synthesis of industrial catalysts and adsorbents from waste, design of sustainable supply chain and operation strategies, and prioritization of sustainability initiatives through application of multi-criteria decision making models.



Dr. Khalili has two patents for designing new processes for converting waste sludge to activated carbon and a catalyst to remove NOx. 


Author, Practical Sustainability: From Grounded Theory to Emerging Strategies (2011), a workbook for minimizing exposure to emissions released during cleaning up at gas utility sites (2002)
