Research Interests

Dr. Van Den Bussche has experience as an EVP, Human Resources for an e-learning and instructor-led platform providing industrial skills training for manufacturing and facility maintenance clients. Her career has included oversight of personnel, all aspects of human resource management, talent management, safety, and employee engagement. She has also been Human Resource Director for a global manufacturer of grease and lubrication products, and a consultant for the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. In these positions she led a performance management appraisal implementation system and implemented change management strategies during a corporate acquisition. She started her career working for several global manufacturing companies.

Community Service

Account Executive for the Taproot Foundation, a not-for-profit organization matching pro bono consultants to work on human resources projects for other not-for-profit organizations. Dr. Van Den Bussche led a team of four pro bono consultants to design a performance review process for site leadership teams at Erie Family Health Centers in Chicago.
